Plan to gather your gardening friends and bring a box or wagon to bring home healthy, Minnesota-grown plants at reasonable prices!
Shop our wide variety of sun and shade perennials, natives, and woodland plants, grasses, groundcovers, and other landscape plants, along with herb and veggie plants too. Check this link often to see the plants our gardeners are growing from seed! Return to this page closer to the plant sale for a list pf plants to be sold.
To prevent the spread of invasive jumping worms, plants dug by DCMGV from
home gardens will be sold bare-rooted. Soil is removed from the roots then the
roots are wrapped with fresh soil, paper towels, and newspaper ready for easy
planting within two weeks! To learn about bare rooted plants, click on this link.
We even have a very popular “Garage Sale” booth. There, you will find clean,
gently-used tools; craft items and lawn ornaments with a garden theme, clean,
large ceramic or plastic pots, and more.
Proceeds from the sale will be used to support the University of Minnesota
Extension Master Gardener programs within Dakota County, including offering
education for all ages, growing produce for local food shelves, increasing habitat
for pollinators, and more. Click this link for a list of our 2024 projects.
